Dr. Ian Bell, DDS
Location: Gladstone
Dr. Ian Bell is a pediatric dentist who joined Honeymint in 2024. Drawn to the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest, he first settled in Seattle before making Portland his home.
He earned his dental degree from the University of Iowa and worked as a general dentist in Seattle for two years, where he discovered his passion for working with children. Encouraged by friends who were pediatric dentists, he went on to complete his pediatric dental residency at Oregon Health & Science University in 2019. Before joining Honeymint, he worked at practices owned by OHSU assistant professors.
In his free time, Dr. Ian enjoys hiking and camping with his wife, Asiya, reading, solving crosswords, and building furniture. A music and movie lover, you’ll often find him at concerts and theaters around Portland, usually fueled by plenty of coffee.
Growing up in a military family sparked his love of travel and meeting new people. Closer to home, he’s happy spending time with Asiya and their bread-loving cat, Chidi. His childhood dream was to either become a dentist or run an amusement park full of dinosaurs. Luckily for his patients, dentistry won!
